Airmaster is pleased to announce the expansion of its operations into Townsville, establishing a dedicated presence in North Queensland and further strengthening its national footprint.

This expansion follows Airmaster’s recent entry into the Northern Territory and reflects continued investment in regional Australia. With 18 branches now operating across Australia and New Zealand, Airmaster continues to build a genuinely national service network, underpinned by local teams, physical branch infrastructure and consistent delivery standards.
The Townsville branch will focus on delivering HVAC mechanical services and building automation solutions, aligned to current demand and Airmaster’s existing portfolio in the region. This includes service and maintenance, projects and installations, and automation-driven optimisation of building systems, providing clients with a practical and integrated approach to performance and reliability.
Airmaster is already supporting a number of key clients in Townsville, including ISPT/IFM retail assets managed through CBRE, Federal Government sites delivered under the JLL Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) framework, Downer Defence, the Australian Taxation Office (Ventia) and GPC. These relationships reflect Airmaster’s ability to extend national partnerships into regional markets, providing consistency in delivery while strengthening local support.
With a growing pipeline of opportunities and increasing demand for reliable, high-performing building systems in North Queensland, Airmaster’s Townsville presence ensures clients benefit from responsive, locally delivered services backed by the strength of a national network.
“Our expansion into Townsville, following the Northern Territory, represents a significant step in strengthening Airmaster’s national presence,” said Wayne Bover, Group Managing Director. “We are focused on building a network of real, on-the-ground capability, not just coverage in name. This ensures our clients receive consistent service, backed by local accountability and national support.”
The Townsville branch will be led by Regional Manager David Penfold, who brings extensive industry experience and a strong understanding of the local market. David will work closely with clients and partners to deliver practical, outcomes-focused solutions aligned to the needs of North Queensland’s commercial and critical infrastructure sectors.
“Townsville is a key hub for North Queensland, and we’re seeing strong demand for mechanical and automation services across the region,” said Luke Peressini, State Manager - Queensland. “Having a dedicated local team allows us to better support our existing clients while continuing to grow our presence through national partnerships.”
“This expansion is about long-term commitment. We’re here to deliver reliable service, practical expertise and consistent outcomes for our clients in the region.”
